USTC Refund/Return Policies:
US Training Council (USTC) has an account with Authorize.net and a merchant service provider, which enables us to accept: Visa, Master and Discover Card. Since paying by Credit Card is the most common and preferred method of payment, we want our customers to have the convenience of using this payment method in order to pay for services rendered by USTC Organization.

Authorize.net has a web based interface and virtual terminal (secured access) which enables us to process debit and /or credit cards for services rendered by our Organization.
Once our training services (i.e. CPR AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Instructor Development Training Program, Phlebotomy Technician Training certification or drug screening services) have been rendered, the agreed-upon fee per student and /or group is non-refundable. After the training is completed, the Instructors' responsibilities have been fulfilled and they are rightfully entitled to compensation for their time and efforts. The only exception is if the class was postponed or cancelled, then the Instructor or student would be entitled to a refund within 15-days of the scheduled date, if the Instructor or student prepaid with debit and /or credit card.
There is a 30-day return policy for all American Heart Association course materials and training equipment. If the product (certification cards, instructor or student textbook, Instructor DVD) is damaged during the manufacturing/production process and/or shipping, the American Heart will honor their 30-day return policy. At the time the product is delieverd to the Instructor or student, we double check to make sure the item is in good working condition.
The only exception to the American Heart Association 30-day return policy is the NEW eCard and /or eBook which is not eligible for 30-day return policy.
If an Instructor decides not to remain active or aligned with us, he/she is entiled to a refund (for course material and training equipment only) within 15 days of attending our Instructor training development program.
As an authorized training center for the American Heart Association, we are bound by written contract to honor their refund/return policy.

The AHA shall not have any responsibility for any costs inccurred, or fees charged, by TC or Training Sites. The AHA is paid no fees by TC or any Training Site or Instructors, and the AHA has no financial interest in the business of TC, Training Sites or Instructors
